During a press conference held on 17 June the details of the upcoming Conrad Festival were announced. Projects supporting debuting writers were also presented, including the national award for debut writers, the Conrad Award; the ‘Promoters of Debuts’ programme addressed to publishers and the UNESCO City of Literature Creative Writing course.
